Original novel project
A cinematic dark fairytale blending gothic atmosphere, psychological storytelling, and emotionally driven worldbuilding.
Though intimate in tone, the project is built as part of a larger interconnected narrative universe shaped by myth, transformation, and fractured identities.
Set in a world suspended between wonder and decay, The Boy & The Firefly follows a lonely boy with a fractured heart who journeys into a hidden realm in search of belonging, healing, and the meaning of his own emptiness.
Guided by a weary firefly and haunted by figures who seem to know more about him than he does himself, the story unfolds as a dark fairytale shaped by psychological tension, symbolic storytelling, and atmospheric worldbuilding.

Story Fragments
1) First sight
Road came to an end when he saw a lake
A lake like a glass, like a picture from his shattered hope
Blinked couple times with the delight
Inhaled that immaculate sight .
As they reached the lake, the boy saw his face,
A reflection of the hurt, the loneliness and the disgrace.
Tears welled up in his eyes, a flood of emotion,
But the firefly's glow brought him a sense of devotion.
Weary and confused he inspect the little one
Who, why, and since when this little firefly

2) Meeting
“If truth in your words does ring,
I can aid to redeem your lost spring.
Meet me at the stroke of midnight's cheer,
Under the full moon's bright sphere”
.
Doubt clouded his gaze, such surprise,
How could this little firefly, he surmised.
"Oh little one, your heart's so pure,
Yet in your frailty, aid is unsure."
.
“Trust…,” she said with her naive smile
“That’s the key.”
“To mend your heart, if that's your boon,
Meet at midnight under the full moon's tune.”
.
“Until that day, cherish moments with me,
At least try to share one, you'll see.”
